Start doing one thing you are passionate about every day. Just one. Every day. You owe this to yourself. Monday through Friday shouldn’t be drudgery. We aren’t here to “live” two days out of the week. Maybe you don’t have the same kind of time during the week, fair enough.

But try making time, even if it’s 1-2 minutes, every day doing something you love. Even if it’s just reading about something you are interested in. That counts. It’s learning more about it.

Stop making excuses, start making decisions…

Excuses won’t get you anywhere. If anything they’re just going to keep you stuck and stagnant. What’s going to make a decision is making a decision.

The need to be right…

This might be something to let go of. Or to try to limit. If you are the person who has to be right every time…life is going to be difficult for you. It’s going to be full of arguments and tension and constant challenge.

Ask yourself why it’s important to you to be right? Or to be told you’re right? Is it because you need the affirmation from others? Is it because you don’t believe how smart you ate yourself? Is it something that goes back to childhood? Your parents always making you feel wrong?

Mind travel…manifesting

Start eating meals at the table

The kitchen table. The table you probably have but use to put things on. It might sound old fashioned, but there’s something to eating meals at the table.

And turn off the TV while you’re eating.

I know. Too much too soon. Stay with me.

I eat all my meals at the table. Sometimes if I have somewhere to be in the morning, I’m eating my yogurt/granola/berries while getting ready. But beyond that…at the table.

It forces you to slow down and enjoy the meal. Slowing down how fast you eat can actually help you eat less…because you’re giving your body time to realize you’re full.

It also allows you to taste your food. Sound ridiculous? How many times have you sat in front of the TV and devoured an entire pizza or bag of chips (or both) and wondered what just happened. Did I really eat all that? Did you enjoy it? Probably not.

Try it for a week. TV off, sit at the table. Start with just dinner. I will sometimes have a podcast playing, but I liken that to listening to music. You might be surprised how much you actually enjoy it.

Get rid of limiting beliefs…

If you want to move your life forward, you need to get rid of limiting beliefs. These can be things you were told as a kid, ideas you developed when you tried something and failed or just something you created in your mind.

Sometimes we make these things up to justify why we aren’t achieving goals. That way, people can’t make us feel too guilty.

But at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter how we came by these limiting beliefs, it’s up to us to get rid of them. If you’re serious about moving your life forward…it’s time.

Start to say out loud, to yourself and to others and start to believe that your potential is limitless. And that you can have, do or be anything you want. It’s up to you.

Mercury Direct!

Mercury is now direct. He stationed direct in October 2-3. There is a shadow period he goes through before he fully “wakes up” and is kihing forward in earnest. That phase can last 7-10 days or so.

But we are on our way. If you put off buying new tech gadgets, traveling, signing important documents or contracts…this is the cosmic green light to go ahead.

And hopefully communication is back to normal. Always still a good idea to speak your truth and ask any questions if you don’t fully understand what the other person might be saying. Or meaning.

Do you confront or avoid?

When met with a difficult situation, a challenge, a person who presents some tension…what do you do? Do you confront the situation or person head on? Or do you run? Do you avoid it?

Why? With whichever you do…why is that your way of resolution? What would it take for you to do the opposite? Maybe not all the time, but sometimes.

I tend to confront. There isn’t too much I’m afraid of or intimidated by. And I think avoiding challenge is no way to live. And often, people need to be confronted or they’ll keep doing what they’re doing thinking it’s okay. Don’t fail to confront someone for hurting you or bothering you if you keep avoiding telling them about it.

But i also think there are times when avoidance is ideal. Like the saying, if it won’t matter in 5 years…don’t give it 5 minutes of your time. So discernment is needed.

What’s your favorite hobby to do alone?

Do you have any? Do all the things you do involve and engage others? Is there something you enjoy doing alone or something that brings you happiness independent of other people?

I think everyone should have at least one thing they do and love to do alone. For me, it’s running and swimming. It’s cooking and reading.

I probably have more things I like to do alone than with people. But that’s my introverted nature.
