Stubborn is one thing. Sometimes it can actually be a good thing. There’s no way I could have finished 22 marathons without a certain amount of stubbornness.
But when being stubborn turns into being stupid, that’s another issue completely. I’m sure you’ve known people who cannot and will not change their mind or behavior. For anybody or anything. Because they are right. End of story. Even in the face of mountains if evidence to the contrary. Even if just changing something small and easy could make a significant difference for the better.
No. My way. I’m not changing.
Unfortunately, you can’t help other people with this. Some of them live their entire lives this way. But you can observe it and tell yourself that you don’t want to act like that. And then decide to be open to new ideas and new ways of being.
In my opinion, fixed earth struggled the most with this. Taurus, I’m talking to you. They probably aren’t going to change. A (foolish) sense of pride or ego…I’m not sure. But it can make dealing with these people almost impossible.
But you can decide you aren’t going to do that. Even if you have a lot of fixed earth in your natal chart. Be open to new. Be open to different. Aquarius season (which is almost over) is a good time for this.
