Athletes know that if they don’t take some time off their body will force them to. Usually with an injury or exhaustion.

But everybody’s body speaks to them all the time. We just don’t listen. Pay attention to how you feel when you are in certain places or around certain people. Do you get a headache? Feel your heart race (not in a good way)? Feel edgy or nervous? Do you feel an instant calm and relaxation? Do you feel lighter?

Your body can pick up on energy and energetic vibration often better than our mind can. The mind tends to rationalize things and make them make sense. The body just reacts. Good or bad.

So pay attention. And then act accordingly. That person you always seem to get a headache around or get itchy skin around? Probably not good for you. The part of the world that makes you feel peace and a sense of belonging…you’re probably meant to be there.
