If you’re experiencing a slump in the middle of the day or having a hard time waking up, invigorating scents can help.
Peppermint, citrus scents, pine/wintergreen. If you have an oil diffuser you can use that. But you can also dab a cotton ball with the oil and smell it periodically throughout the day.
It’s not caffeine. So don’t expect a jolt like that. But if you’re caffeine sensitive or don’t like the acid content (or multiple trips to the bathroom), consider essential oils. You can find them almost everywhere now (CVS has them!). A brand I buy from often is Eden’s Garden.
