Tarot Card Reading of the Week – May 26, 2019

The card in the past position is Temperance reversed.  A lack of balance. A lack of moderation with something.  Something too extreme. Swinging too far in one direction.  It’s in the past direction – so it’s energy leaving us.

The card in the present position is the Six of Cups upright.  This can be a soul mate card.  It can also be about friends from the past – perhaps from our childhood. Although it doesn’t have to go back that far. It could just be somebody we haven’t heard from in a while.    A lovely card. It’s about kindness and kindred spirits.

The card in the future position is the Two of Wands upright.   Any time there’s a two card, it can (not always) indicate choice in some way. Or, dealing with two of something – obviously. Wands are about things we are excited about or things we are passionate about.  Two new hobbies, maybe. Or a job and  a hobby.  It comes right after the Ace of Wands so there’s a newness and a freshest to this card. The beginning of something exciting.

Good cards this week.  We’re leaving some energy that lacked balance and we’re headed towards something new and exciting.  Nothing bad about that…

Oracle Card of the Month – May 2019

Happy, Happy.

Does it get better than that? Do I need to explain this card and its meaning?  I will anyway. It’s about happiness and being content.  And happiness often goes hand-in-hand with peace.  It’s hard to be happy if you’re not at peace with yourself or your life. So a good card for the month ahead. If may doesn’t start out this way, that’s okay. As the month progresses, things should be feeling lighter and lighter.  And you should be feeling happier and happier.

Tarot Card Reading of the Week – May 5, 2019

The card in the past position is the Eight of Wands reverse. This can indicate a lack of communication or a lack of action. A lack of movement.  A good card to get in this position because it’s energy we’re leaving. If something has been feeling stagnant or like you can’t get through to somebody…it’s about to come to an end.

The card in the present position is the Knave of Pentacles – also known as the Page of Pentacles. Pages can be children under the age of 10-12 or people who act like children.  We all know people who act like children.  But they’re also messengers. And the suit of pentacles is about money and material goods. So you could be receiving some good news about money or finances.   It may come from or somehow be related to an earth sign person as well (Virgo, Capricorn or Taurus) since this suit also corresponds to the earth sign people.

The future card is the Queen of Cups upright. She’s a very emotionally stable and mature water sign woman – Cancer, Pisces, Scorpio. She doesn’t have to be a water sign person. But she’s very nurturing woman and very sensitive and kind. Gentle.  If this isn’t an actual person in your life, you could be taking on this quality yourself. Or, it could just be a general energy around you.  A little more kindness and emotional peace.  Nothing bad about that.

There’s a new moon in Taurus on May 5 – so a great time for new beginnings.  Specifically centered around what you value. Taurus is ruled by Venus and Venus here (unlike Libra, which she also rules) is is about money and luxury.   A good time to start something new within your finances or with your money.  Keep in mind that Uranus is also transiting Taurus for the next seven years. So there may be some surprises in this area of life for all of us in some way.
