My New Favorite Oracle Card Deck

Wisdom of the Oracle by Colette Baron-Reid.

So many reasons why I’ve fallen in love with this oracle card deck. The pictures are beautiful.  And in each picture, there’s a face.  Colette Baron-Reid explains it as an oracle living inside the cards.  I love the idea of each of the cards having an individual little spirit of their own.

The art work is adorable. Most of the cards have an animal of some sort. So if you’re an animal lover, this deck may appeal to you.  Bright and pretty colors are used as well.

And the meanings are easy to understand.  There’s a guidebook that comes with the deck in case you need it. And it gives additional insight into potential ways to read the cards.  This is also a deck in which the cards can be read reversed. I personally don’t read reversed oracle cards, only tarot cards. But for those people who look for alternative meanings and spreads, this may also appeal to you.

It’s a beautiful deck and an easy to work with deck as well.  My new favorite oracle card deck for sure.

Sun in Pisces

On February 18, 2018 the sun shifted from the intellectual air sign of Aquarius to the water sign of Pisces. Venus is in Pisces as well – so there’s an emotional, sensitive dynamic at play right now.

Ruled by Neptune, there can sometimes be a draw towards escapism with Pisces. Sometimes prone to substance abuse, but any habit or person that they can get lost in to distance themselves from their own sensitivity will work.

Use this energy and the energy of all planets moving direct (morning will retrograde until March 8 when Jupiter retrogrades for a few weeks) for creative endeavors. And to get in touch with all things emotional or that can elicit an emotional reaction.

Pisces is not a sign of aggression or confrontation. Reacting that way won’t get you very far right now. Going with the flow will probably be better all around.
